- The nice thing about working with us vs. a consignment function for example is you can control your price. After listing it for a while with no action, then you can either decide to take it off the market, lower the price or take an offer.
- At a regular auction after their 10% commission you must take what it goes for which could be anything, plus having to pay the hauling to the auction of $200 to $1,000+ depending on distance. And if it doesn’t sell then you have the same expense to haul it back.
- Part of our fee covers the time we put into market research for you giving a person recent sale ranges and prices of the same or similar models.
- Since we have shipping connections all over the country, we can ship equipment very reasonably. This lowers buyer’s costs drastically and helps get the goal price you want on your tractor or equipment. For example, if we can save a buyer 50% on their transportation costs, they can use those savings to increase the price they can pay for your equipment.
- We offer national and local Financing options, both business and personal, to let buyers afford most any piece of equipment. The more expensive the item the more likely the buyer will need financing
We do ask for a minimum one-month period to exclusively market your equipment and ideally 5-8 weeks or more. If after the one-month period, you decide to go in a different direction we ask for a 7-day notice. If you sell your tractor locally by chance during our listing period, we ask for $100 time and materials reimbursement to cover the very minimum listing expenses we put into each piece of equipment. This is only during our exclusive listing period.
Commission: 10% Commission with a $500 minimum and a $2,000 cap. Above $25,000 max. $2,500 cap so on a $50,000 machine that is just 5%.
