SERVICE TECHNICIAN
The Role:
Tractor Town Equipment is growing and wants to add to our team a quality Service Technician Mechanic. We work on everything ranging from farm tractors and construction equipment / skids steer excavators along with Zero Turn Mowers, UTV's and implements. Tractor Town sells over 600 used and new machines a year regionally, locally and all over the United Stares. We work on a variety of makes and models, so you will always have something new to work on and see. Tractor Town is a thriving, successful farm tractor and equipment dealer located at Lewisburg, TN, a short 40 minutes south of Nashville. We have many team members who have given up fighting Nashville or Huntsville traffic for wasted hours of their life and are happy to be taking the fast, easy drive to friendly Lewisburg. Tractor Town has been fortunate the last several years with strong growth and expansion. And now again the 2025 was another record year with over $14 million in sales and 2026 is looking is to be better yet.
At the top end of our scale, we are looking for an excellent Level 2 or 3 farm tractor and/or a zero turn mower or UTV experienced service technician mechanic. This technician can generally handle any task given to them. Technicians may also have good experience in any of these several areas too would be of benefit: equipment electrical, parts research, other gas engines including UTV's & construction equipment. At the starting end of our pay scale we are looking to take on someone with high interest in this field who has good mechanical experience but little service dept. experience to do set up, detail and load out along with assisting senior level staff. Any candidate hired will need to have very good work and/or personal references.
Depending on your qualifications pay can range from $18 to $34 an hour depending on experience and position whether you are an A1 level tech or looking to be an asst. tech. If you're the top tech at your company in regards to quality, efficiency and speed we would like to talk with you too. We can flex your work week anytime between the hours of 6:30 am to 5 pm. A four-day 10 hour week may be okay too depending on the candidate and days involved. Besides the good benefits shown below health insurance can be negotiated also if needed and we do have supplemental plans currently through AFLAC.
